Job Title : Beverage Product Line Manager

Band : 7

Business Unit : Materials and Minerals

Location : Mexico City, Mexico

Reports to : Sr. Manager, Global Services Marketing

Position Summary :

The product manager will own and manage the entire product and service portfolio life cycle to drive adoption and exceed revenue goals for the beverage product line.

The product manager acts as the internal expert for the product line, analyzes market trends and opportunities, and has a strong grasp on customer needs.

What will you do?

This role will interface with internal stakeholders including service, aftermarket sales, R&D, and operations to lead new product introductions, product line extensions and sustaining activities for beverage inspection instrument and services.

  • Own the current product & services offerings
  • Develop and lead the product line implementation strategy including roadmap, market expansion, business model, go-to-market, partnership and potential M&A
  • Interacts with customers and internal stakeholders to understand product opportunities and translate market needs to new product requirements.
  • Partners with commercial operations team to ensure successful commercialization of new products and services.
  • Analyzes competitive activities to define positioning and key differentiators.
  • Provides in-field support, sales tools and training to sales and support staff, including giving customer presentations and opportunity management to identify and progress new opportunities.
  • Develops relationships with industry leaders.
  • Works collaboratively with the regional and global marketing communications team to plan lead generation campaigns and marketing materials.
  • Participates in process and operation improvement opportunities.
  • Complies with company quality management systems, policies and procedures.
  • Set end pricing strategy and manage product / service life cycle of product line
  • Educational Qualifications :

    Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or general Business Administration

    Experience Qualifications :

    Minimum 5 years of experience in a traditional product management or service product line management role

    Strong understanding of customer, market dynamics and requirements to drive growth

    Demonstrated success developing, launching and growing products and / or service offerings

    Strong organizational skills and self motivation and initiative to accept responsibility, work independently, prioritize workload effectively, meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously while following through individual tasks to completion

    Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority

    Demonstrated ability to multi-task and set priorities within tight timelines and high customer expectations

    Proven ability to design, develop and implement both strategic and supporting tactics to grow product line

    Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job

    Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities

    Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload

    Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across multiple functions

    Services product management experience is a plus

    Other Requirements :

    Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English & Spanish
